Please handle magnets with care. Small magnets must be kept away from children - these can be hazardous and life threatening if swallowed. Hard magnet materials are brittle and can chip, crack or break if dropped or if allowed to snap to each other or to nearby steel objects. Magnets can be very powerful and may pinch fingers or hands if not handled properly so please take special precautions!
The Approximate Pulls listed here are for reference only. These values are calculated under the assumption that the magnet will be attached to a flat, ground 1/2" thick mild steel plate. Coatings, rust, rough surfaces, and certain environmental conditions can significantly reduce the pull force. Please be sure to test the actual pull in your actual application, and for critical applications, it is suggested that the pull be de-rated by a factor of 2 or more, depending on the severity of a potential failure.
Ordering Information - How soon will you ship?
We take pride in our history of maintaining adequate stock for our customers, and our in-stock materials are typically shipped within 72 hours once your order has been placed.
If we are temporarily out of stock on any of your items, we will get in contact with you immediately by phone or email to let you know how quickly we can ship them to you. You can let us know if the delivery date is acceptable or if you prefer to cancel the order. And of course, you will not be billed until we actually ship the product to you.
Custom orders are our specialty! Our team is ready to assist whether your custom item is a special size, shape or grade of magnet, a custom magnetic device, or specialty applications such as magnets imprinted with your name or message.
We will work with you to design a top quality, customized product that meets your needs and budget. We are required to charge tax for shipments going to California, Arizona or Texas. For shipments going to other locations, you will not be charged sales tax.
To qualify as a tax-exempt customer, you must have an account with us. You can upload your tax-exempt certificate in the My Accounts page, and provide your tax ID# in the comments box during checkout. Upon approval, we will deduct the tax from your order prior to shipment, so your credit card will not be charged & future purchases made on your account will automatically reflect no tax.

And of course, invoices for back ordered items are held until the item is shipped.
We ship via FedEx Ground or Smartpost as standard. You can select additional expedited FedEx shipping methods including FedEx International Economy during the checkout process. Our site obtains current shipping costs directly from FedEx & reflects special contract pricing.
By request, we can also ship via your FedEx or UPS shipping account - please specify the shipping method on your order & provide your account information in the comments box during checkout.
** Please note that standard FedEx Ground or Smartpost is only available for contiguous mainland states - this service is not available, for example, to or from Alaska, or Hawaii.
Secure Payment Information
Your credit card is billed only when your item is shipped, and not before. Providing you with a secure online experience is of utmost importance to us. We have taken the necessary measures in order to ensure the safety of your personal information by partnering with Authorize.Net, a leading payment gateway since 1996 in order to accept credit card payments safely and securely for our customers.
If the products that we send to you are defective for any reason, we will replace the material or refund you promptly. We also accept returns on all magnets returned to us in original and resalable condition within 30 days of purchase.
In order to efficiently process your return, please email us at email@example.com or call the Help Desk at 1-800-700-1076 & request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. Our Help Desk team will assist you with all the required shipping information for your return.
Refusing Delivery of Damaged Items
Our top priority is to deliver your purchases in good condition. However, if on the rare occasion your package is open or damaged when it arrives, you can refuse delivery of the merchandise, and contact our Help Desk at 1-800-700-1076 to report the problem.
- MagnetShop.com (Seller) warrants to Buyer for a period of one year from the date of shipment that all Products supplied or sold to Buyer will be free from defects in material and workmanship, and be merchantable.
- Seller makes no other warranties regarding the Product, express or implied, including without limitation the implied warranty of fitness for particular purpose.
- Before using, Buyer shall determine the suitability of the product for its intended use, and Buyer assumes all risk and liability whatsoever in connection herewith.
- Neither Seller nor manufacturer shall be liable either in tort or in contract for any loss or damage, direct, incidental, or consequential, arising out of the use of or the inability to use the product.
- No statement or recommendation not contained herein shall have any force or effect unless in an agreement signed by officers of seller and manufacturer.
- In the event Seller delivers Products that do not conform to the warranties set forth above, Seller will at its option promptly repair or replace defective Product. The foregoing remedy of repair or replace is Buyer's exclusive remedy for breach of warranty described above.
Reporting Unauthorized Charges
Within 60 days of purchase, if you notice an unauthorized charge is made to your credit card by Magnet Sales & Manufacturing, please contact your credit card company and report the unauthorized charges immediately. As soon as possible, fax us a copy of your statement along with the following information:
- Your name
- Daytime phone number
- Billing address
- A copy of the credit card statement in question (please circle fraud charges)
- Proof of your credit card company's fraud determination and liability fee
- A description of the incident
